Each Wednesday at 1:00pm PST, our partner Lucas Trottier will host a 50 minute Tai Chi class. Participants of every level of experience all welcome.
How to register:
Buy a single class or enjoy a reduced rate by purchasing a "Season Pass" (3, 5, or 10 classes)
- Select your preferred date from the dropdown list above, click the "Ticket" button, and follow the instructions on the purchase page
- Select the date on which you wish to begin using your Season Pass from the dropdown list above and click the "Ticket" button;
- On the purchase page, choose either a 3, 5, or 10 class pass
- A small service fee will be added to each ticket in order to provide the online purchasing service.

About the instructor:
Lucas Trottier is the head instructor at the Vancouver Traditional Martial Arts Dojo. He regularly teaches classes in Shorinji Ryu Karate, Old Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan, Okinawan/Japanese Kobudo and the principles of Daito Ryu Aiki-Jujutsu. He is also currently an active student of Traditional Kenjutsu, Qi Gong, and Isshinho Traditional Japanese Medicine.
The class will officially begin at 1:00pm PST and Lucas will be available from 12:55pm to answer questions.
About Tai Chi:
Tai Chi Chuan is a Traditional Chinese martial art that focuses on the harmonization of ones mind, body, and spirit.
Its practise is a form of moving meditation, deep abdominal breathing is combined with a series of movements that are structured continuously. The movements of Tai Chi are designed to be rhythmical, effortless, and in continuous in flow.
